Crested Butte Wildflower Engagement Session // Ashley+Zack // The Delacastros

It was peak wildflower season in Crested Butte, Colorado, the most perfect time for an engagement session.

Something that Logan and I value almost over everything else with our business is building a relationship with our couples. We strongly believe that the more comfortable you feel with us, the more doors open for us to be able to document your day intimately.

Ashley and Zack opted for our Adventure Engagement Session, which means we take a weekend and travel somewhere epic to document their engagement instead of just the typical hour long session. Having the weekend to allow us to get to know each other SUPER well (and have tons of fun in the meantime!) is priceless. We all drove into Crested Butte together, and simply driving around left us constantly in awe of the creation around us.

Individual images of both the groom-to-be and the bride-to-be are super important to us during sessions.

The sun began to sink lower, and, driving fast to catch the last rays of light, we managed to spy an open field with the perfect view.

We woke up early, just in time for sunrise the next morning. It was a challenge to time our location perfectly, as we were in a valley and the sun wouldn't peek above the mountains until later.

The best thing about this day was Ashley+Zack's dogs. Aren't they the freaking cutest??
